This is great! Thanks for putting it together. WE have a candidate forum scheduled from 6:00pm until 7:45pm. At the end of the forum, which is at our public library, I’ll announce the movie. Our screen is set up just across the street -:) Our event is here:

It is our reaction to voter apathy in Illinois, as explained in the press release linked from the site above. We’re also working on streaming media, and offering training sessions that starts tomorrow. Good luck with yours!

    In Solidarity,

    Hi Annie and team:

Today, Robert Weissman, has warning us about covert operations against Public Citizen Org. I have replied him that it was not surprising what is going on. That’s the way as some people intend to bother us because they feel that democracy is something bad.

Anyway, despite these points of view, it’s a true that democracy is something good for all of us. We deserve it; we: the people, the real human beings, have the right to live in democracy as is stated in our Supreme Law no matter what the Supreme Court rules and specially if they are particularly wrong.

In The Story of Stuffs Annie told us that the government is to help us, to protect us, not to bother us. She is right. I back this idea.

So I celebrate this new project of your own, I wish you a great success and be sure that I will do my best to make it known.

    Best regards.

    Néstor

Aloha Annie & The Story of Stuff Ohana, Mahalo nui (thank you very much) for putting this together. It is so difficult these days for people to know what is really going on. We watched the Woodie Guthrie Movie last night (Bound for Glory). It is so relevant to our current times. In a society build on materialism and trying to keep up with the 1%, it is hard to know what is real. I’ve started the political discussion with my friends regarding so many issues. I always let them know we don’t have to agree, but we have to respect each other. Our friend now calls us: The Political Bitches from Waimanalo. He wants to join!!!! Love is really all we need, and if we could spread the word, as I believe you have with your Story of Stuff project, maybe the world could really “live as one”. Mahalo and a hui hou, Ana

Do you have capability of sending separate email to California people? You should tell California folks to sign up to support the newly proposed California DISCLOSE Act. This is our next step on the road to public funding of election campaigns.
