Reuse Changemaker Bootcamp
Let’s Shake Things Up
The Story of Stuff is still being written—and you have a role to play. We’re inviting you to join Winning a Reusable Future: Changemaker Bootcamp—a three-part training series designed to help you build a better future rooted in reuse.
Whether you’re new to organizing or already leading efforts in your community, this bootcamp will help you:
- Understand the plastics and waste crises.
- Explore how reuse systems can transform communities.
- Learn organizing skills to build local campaigns and drive change.
- Connect with other Changemakers and become part of a growing movement.
Want to learn about why reuse is the answer to our waste crisis? Read more here.
This online training is divided into two sessions (modules) that are each 90-minutes long. There is an optional third module for leadership training that you can register for separately.

Module 1
Learn what’s broken in the system and why reuse is the key to turning off the tap of endless waste. We’ll dive into how reuse addresses climate change, health risks, environmental justice, and more—all while offering real, tangible solutions.

- What is reuse?
- It’s as simple as the plate in your kitchen cabinet. A reuse system is a coordinated process where that plate—or a cup, container, or utensils—is washed and used again and again. Reuse stops waste before it begins, instead of trying to manage it after the damage is done.
- Why reuse?
- The plastic and single-use waste crisis is spiraling out of control. And we can’t recycle our way out of this. Reuse is the solution. Read more here.
