What if your kid’s school lunch didn’t come with piles of disposable trays and packaging?
At Emeryville Elementary School, the Center for Environmental Health helped launch a reusable lunch program using stainless steel trays, keeping more than 50,000 disposable items out of landfills each year while reducing students’ exposure to harmful chemicals often found in single-use foodware.
