Episode 6: Finding Purpose in a Pandemic

About this video

La Chureca located in Managua, Nicaragua was the largest open-air landfill in Central America, covering seven square kilometers. Roughly one thousand people live and work on the dumpsite making a living by sorting recyclable waste, half of whom are children under the age of 18. La Chureca is just one dumpsite out of the many scattered all over the world.

Join a conversation with Founder of Shoot for Change and photojournalist, Timothy Bouldry, who quit his job as a yoga teacher in New York and followed his passion to travel the world and tell the stories of the people who live and work at dumpsites.
