Send Postcards to Coca-Cola

We’re telling Coke to Bring Back Refill! Reusables are a solution that reduce waste and litter, curb emissions, limit exposure to microplastics, and build a circular economy.

Although Coca-Cola is a corporate behemoth, operationally, it’s run by regional bottlers – who aren’t used to hearing directly from concerned citizens and customers. 

Mail a handwritten postcard directly to Coca-Cola bottlers and urge them to bring back their iconic refillable bottles. We’ll provide everything you need including postcards, stamps, sample messages, and mailing addresses.

STEP 1: GET YOUR POSTCARDS

We’ll send you 2 stamped postcards in the mail. Our “Wish You Were Here” vintage vacation-inspired postcards feature countries that are reuse success stories.

Or, If you don’t want to wait or prefer to get creative, you can also use or make your own 4″x6″ postcards.

STEP 2: WRITE Your MessageS

Once you have postcards, it’s time to write your messages. Try personalizing your note. If you like drinking Coca-Cola products or have a fond personal memory with their reusable glass bottles, share that! The company wants to listen to their loyal customers. You can use our sample message below, or write your own.

Sample Message:

Hi, my name is [YOUR NAME] in [CITY, STATE], and I want to see Coke’s iconic refillable glass bottle make a comeback!

[ADD IN 1 OR 2 KEY POINTS]
– Many countries have great refillable, reusable bottle systems, let’s bring them back here.
– A lot of people prefer the taste and experience of real Coke in real bottles.
– I wish I could enjoy a Coca-Cola without the single-use waste.
– Other Coke bottlers run successful refill and reuse systems, like in El Paso, Texas, and you can do it too.
– On your website, you share that sustainability and managing waste are important to you, and that’s important to me too. Reusables are the best solution to reducing single-use waste and plastic pollution.

STEP 3: ADDRESS Your Postcards

Different Coca-Cola bottlers cover different regions. Click your state to find which Coca-Cola bottlers to write to, and their mailing addresses.

STEP 4: Mail!

Drop your postcards in the mail — at the post office, an outgoing mail slot in your building, or a USPS blue box. If you can, try to mail them by December 20.

STEP 5: Report Back

Let us know that you completed this action! This helps us track the number of postcards sent and our collective impact. Hundreds of postcards alongside our other pressure tactics can encourage regional Coke bottlers to Bring Back Refill, which could open more doors to greater industry-wide reuse systems.
